This Fall, Rudely Stamp’d will be revisiting its original play with a new face in the role of General William Tecumseh Sherman.

Please welcome Dan Snyder to the stage!
After starring in the role of Albert Brisbane in our play Brothers at Odds: The Brisbane Story, Snyder will take on the role of General Sherman in the revival of the three act play Now We Stand By Each Other Always, written and directed by Derek Maxfield.
In this version, Maxfield will once again reprise the role of General Ulysses S. Grant, and Jess Maxfield will also return to the stage in the role of Julia Grant.
The three act play includes scenes at Vicksburg in June 1863, Cincinnati in April 1864, and City Point, VA, in March 1865. Based on first-hand accounts and primary resources, each act centers on a hypothetical conversation between the two historical figures, offering a deeper understanding of their relationship, personalities, and priorities.
Currently booked for two performances in Virginia this November, Rudely Stamp’d will hold a local performance of the play on September 20th at the Main St. 56 Theater in Batavia, NY in collaboration with the Batavia Players.
