BELLEFONTE, PA – On Saturday June 7th, Rudely Stamp’d was invited by the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association to perform “Now We Stand By Each Other Always,” the revival of the three-act Civil War docudrama starring Derek Maxfield as General Ulysess S. Grant and Dan Snyder as General William Tecumseh Sherman.

The performance was part of a larger event known as Civil War Weekend in Bellefonte, a three day series of events in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, which included Civil War-related lectures, an encampment, music, food, and more!

Prior to the performance on Saturday, Generals Grant and Sherman provided a guest appearance at the Civil War Colloquium on June 6th, where Derek Maxfield was also invited as a guest speaker to talk about his book Man of Fire: William Tecumseh Sherman in the Civil War, part of the Emerging Civil War Series.

This performance included Jess Maxfield in the role of Julia Dent Grant.

Rudely Stamp’d was also honored to meet local historical impressionist Mike Kinney who performed as Abraham Lincoln as part of the Civil War Weekend.

We had a blast performing and attending events at the first Civil War Weekend in Bellefonte and we hope that the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association will be able to see this event grow and flourish in years to come!
